II. La boca del lobo es siempre honda y oscura

Me fui entonces con la experta en relaciones públicas a cumplir con mi destino. El programa estelar que me tocaba se pasaba en vivo, y duraba una hora completa, con intervenciones libres del público al final. La boca del lobo es siempre honda y oscura, pero aquel conductor era un hombre muy cordial, y muy profesional, muy bien enterado de los libros y muy sagaz en sus juicios literarios, y cuando entramos en el terreno político no dejó su ponderación. Se acercaba la hora en que se abriría el micrófono para dar paso a las intervenciones de los radioyentes, y entonces empezó a advertir a los participantes potenciales que las preguntas debían plantease con respeto, mientras los múltiples botones del teléfono de cabina relampagueaban con furia.
